Srimanthudu Audio Review
Srimanthudu is an upcoming telugu movie directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Y. Naveen and Y. Ravi Shankar. Mahesh Babu & Shruthi Hassan are acting in lead roles. Srimanthudu Music is given by Devi Sri Prasad.
Superstar Mahesh Babu's latest offering, Srimanthudu is releasing worldwide on August 7th. The audio of the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad had released recently and is going well with the audience. The music album has all songs penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and that one song was penned by DSP himself.

1."Rama Rama"
Singer(s): Sooraj Santhosh, Ranina Reddy
Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
This is one fine attempt by Rama Jogayya Sastry to narrate Ramayanam in one song. The beats are energetic and so is the song rendering. The choice of repeated words of 'Daan Tassadiyaa' sounded good. The song is enjoyable and will be an instant hit on screen due to Mahesh Babu's screen presence.
2. "Jata Kalise"
Singer(s): Sagar, Suchitra
Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
This is a beautiful melody rendered by Sagar and Suchitra. Suchitra some how did not sound strong. DSP had done a good job with the tune but singers could have done it better. Words like "చదివేస్తున్న, అచ్చు" are not rendered properly. Rama Jogayya Sastry had done a good job.
3. "Charuseela"
Singer(s): Yazin Nizar, Devi Sri Prasad (Rap)
Lyrics: Devi Sri Prasad
Rock Star DSP is at his best in this songs. The lyrics are very youthful and is rendered very well by the musician. DSP sang the RAP part while Yazin's voice added more style to the song. The song should work on big screen.
4. "Srimanthuda"
Singer(s): M. L. R. Karthikeyan
Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
The title song of the movie and is a stand out in the album. Every thing worked out well - Singing, lyrics, tune and everything. There are some very sensible couplets like "సాయం సమాజమే" "నీ గేయం నిరంతరం" "విశ్వమంతా పేరు పేరునా ప్రేమ పంచే పసితనమా" . The chorus has well supported the lead singer. The short duration is a disappointment.
5. "Jaago"
Singer(s): Raghu Dixit, Rita
Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
One more youthful song. However Singer Raghu seem to have over used his energy. It sounded loud than energetic. Guitar Rocks. Beats are ok. DSP sounded routine in this song. The female singer's rendering do not match with the energy of the male. Lyrics are also routine.
6. "Dimmatirigae"
Singer(s): Simha, Geetha Madhuri
Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
Evadu kodite Dimmatirigi potundo - the punch dialogue in Mahesh Babu's industry hit film, Pokiri is cleverly used in the song to woo the fans. This is the item number in the movie. Singers, Rama Jogayya Sastry and DSP has nothing much to offer other than provide a standard routine item song. Simha and Geetha Madhuri did not do a great job but are passable in these type of songs.
Pick(s) of the album: Srimantudu, Rama Rama, Jata Kalise Srimanthudu is an album with 3 good songs and 3 routine songs. Even though it is not a sensational album. It should satisfy the usual norms of a commercial film with a decent melody, good title song and a decent duet.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu had completed its censor formalities this morning. Srimanthudu had received U/A certificate from the Censor Board and now the grand release is on for August 7th. Every one are eagerly waiting for the premieres in Overseas.
